New Zealand’s choice for permanent clear coat surface protection
Looking for a product that provided permanent clear coat protection for his boat, Geoff Pridham came across Nano-Clear. He was sick of cut and polishing the boat’s surface knowing it would be oxidised and faded within a few months.
So impressed with Nano-Clear’s ability to permanently restore gloss, resist corrosion and abrasion, and increase surface hardness, Geoff could see how this product could positively impact New Zealanders and purchased the company.
- Extreme corrosion protection
- Extreme abrasion resistance
- Weatherproof gloss
- Significant reduction in the re-paint cycle
- Reduction in cleaning and maintenance by 60%
- Extending the value and life of your asset.
Nano-Clear is now being distributed across New Zealand through pre-approved distributors and trained applicators with the company’s mission being:
To be New Zealand’s number one permanent clear coat surface protection.
Nano-Clear was developed by Nanovere Technologies in the United States, a company that specialises in the research, development and manufacturing of first-to-market nano coatings with multi-functional properties.
Nanovere began the development of highly scratch resistant, chemical and UV resistant nanocoatings with self-cleaning properties. The technical challenge was to develop multi-functional nanocoatings that would outperform “all” leading automotive and aerospace OEM coating competitors.
After 5 years of extensive research and product development, Nanovere introduced the world’s first Dendritic Polyurethane Coating systems in 2008 and subsequently began working closely with leading validation organizations including GM, Jaguar, BMW, Boeing, Club Car & Polaris.
In 2013, Nanovere introduced the world’s first ambient cure Nano-Clear Coating platform to exceed automotive OEM, industrial and aerospace OEM technical specifications. The Nano-Clear product portfolio is manufactured by Nanovere in Brighton, Michigan and sold globally through select distributors.
Nano-Clear was first brought into New Zealand by Chris McLeod in 2012, who now operates Nano-Clear Australia. Chris spent a decade refinishing surfaces and years researching various products before finding Nano-Clear and bringing it to New Zealand.
He had found a product range that was proven to be dramatically superior over the nearest competitor demonstrating a huge improvement in scratch resistance and a significant decrease in cleaning and surface maintenance. Nano-Clear was also far more impact resistant, chemical resistant, and abrasive resistant compared to the closest automotive clear coat competitor.
